Shawn E Milnes is a multi-faceted copywriter, arts journalist, satirist, and fiction writer. He is a regular contributor to The Daily Beast and Slipped Disc, the most highly-read classical music website in the world. He has also created marketing, press and fundraising materials for a variety of classical music programs and foundations, including The Martina Arroyo Foundation, Prelude to Performance, The American Singer’s Opera Project, The VOICExperience Foundation, and The Savannah Voice Festival. As a script analyst in Hollywood, he sold a collaborative project to Jerry Bruckheimer Films.

Shawn owns and operates a popular opera blog called Schleppy Nabucco’s, where he acts as editor, copy editor, copy manager, and layout editor for his contributors.  He is a member of the Writer’s Guild of America, East.  For fiction, he is represented by Ian Kleinert of Objective Entertainment.
